The SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 Player comes in a wide variety of colours and storage sizes. Having tried a wide range of mp3 players in the past I can say that the Sansa Fuze is one of the best so far, it may not be from as big a name as Apple or Sony but it compares well in quailty. You are not limited by a system such as iTunes and the players have the ability to expand their capacity via Micro SD support which allows seamless additional storage for your tunes. This player is high quality in all respects. Storing media on the player is just a matter of drag and drop or synching via windows media player or a similar product. The Sansa Fuze is loaded with the latest features, lets check them out.

Video & Pictures
The screen is a 1.9″ LCD, small but yet bright and clear. The SanDisk media conversion software is easy to use and compresses the picture and audio for the player. Videos played on the Sansa Fuze will impress. Pictures fit the screen well are shown off in vibrant colour with perfect clarity.

Music, Radio & Voice Recording
The main use of the Sansa Fuze will be as a MP3 player so the most important detail on one of these players is the sound quality. The quality on the SanDisk Sansa Fuze is very good indeed, as good as if not better than the iPods. The player has lots of features for navigation and organisation of your music tracks. For once the earphones bundled with a MP3 are not bad at all. The inbuilt radio has very good reception and there is a facility to record from the radio as well as a voice recorder which is impressivly clear and is good at picking up the voices for up to a good few meters.

The GoGear RaGa from Philips is a small compact mp3 player. It is very small indeed, not much bigger than the size of a golf ball. Packed into this tiny bundle is 4 or 8 GB of storage space for your music. The GoGear RaGa can play music in mp3 and wma formats and it has a user friendly 3 line screen for displaying track information, elapsed track time and battery power remaining and of course you can browse through the music onboard.

The lithium-polymer battery gives up to 27 hours continuous playback. The GoGear RaGa comes with a USB cable to attach to your PC and putting music onto the player is as simple as drag and drop, no need for any additional software to install to your PC. The controls have been moved onto the earphone cord, so no need to go hunting in your pockets for the player. The iPod Shuffle introduces us to a new feature, VoiceOver. With a press of a button the player can tell you the artist and song title of the track you are currently listening to. It also warns you when the battery is low! VoiceOver can communicate in 20 different languages. As you would expect the iPod Shuffle offers the ability to have multiple playlists and the 4GB version has enough room to fit in 1,000 tracks. The shuffle switch has three positions.
